Meet the Physician
Olurotimi J. Badero, MD, FACP, FASN, FACC
As one of the most knowledgeable minds in Mississippi, Dr. Olurotimi Badero is also the only combined cardiologist and nephrologist in the United States. And despite numerous job offers from around the country, he has stayed in Jackson.
From an early age in his native country of Nigeria, Badero valued education. After completing his undergraduate studies at the University of Ife, he enrolled in the school's medical program and graduated in 1997.
When he moved to the United States he attended the State University of New York, where he completed specialty training in internal medicine in 2004. In 2006, he earned his specialty degree in nephrology at Emory University in Atlanta. According to his desire to care for patients with all his effort, he decided that his skills that the time was not enough. This was especially since some diseases of the heart were as a result of the failure of the kidney.
Thus, Dr. Badero, in 2009, returned to SUNY to earn his specialty degree in cardiology. Afterwards, he attended Yale University where he earned three more specialties: interventional cardiology, peripheral vascular medicine and peripheral vascular convention.
In addition to other experiences around the country, Dr. Badero worked at Jackson, Mississippi's Central Mississippi Medical Center. There, he performed the first radial coronary angioplasty in CMMC history and also treated nephrology patients for two years without additional pay. Additionally, he did a one-year fellowship in interventional nephrology and dialysis.
To culminate his skills into better caring for the community, in 2013, Dr. Badero started CRVA, Cardiac, Renal & Vascular Associates. The clinic has become a source of healing to many patients. Dr. Badero, known for his compassion, has be accepted into the community for his deep desire to care forhis patients with respect and dignity regardless of their conditions.

Our Practice and Goal
Cardiac Renal & Vascular Associates P.C. was established in 2013. Located in the corner of Robinson Rd and Raymond Rd, CRVA meets it mission of improving the lives of patients through meticulous cardiac and renal care while also inspiring patients to increase their health through sustainable, healthy lifestyles.
CRVA is welcoming, fully staffed with compassionate personnel eager to assist any patient. With its calm atmosphere, CRVA foments peace in patients as they are Physicians utilize an inclusive model that involves the patients throughout their treatments. Fully integrated with meaningful-use EHR, CRVA ensure patients' information are secure and accessible to patients.
THE PRACTICE
IMPORTANT:
Coming to the office.
- It is important and the patient's responsibility to bring and ot provide CRVA with the current, accurate billing information at the time of check-in.
Co-pays and Deductibles.
- It is, as part of the contractual agreement with the health insurance, the responsibility of the patient to pay co-pay/deductibles of services rendered.
Prior authorization.
- The clinic will obtain the necessary autorizations prior to rendering treatments.
Protection of Privacy
- CRVA, in accordance with HIPPAA, will protect patient's health information. Patient's health information will only be used to plan, conduct, and direct patient's treatment and follow-ups amongst the multiple healthcare providers involved in the specific treatments, to obtain payment from third-party payers, and to conduct normal health care operations such as quality assessments or evalutatons, and physician certifications.
- The patient may request in writing that CRVA restrict how patient's private information is used or disclosed.
